Irvin Evans Award

Irvin Evans volunteered for the United Way of Berks County for 30 years and was the organizations longest serving Loan Campaign Specialist. It is estimated he helped raise over 200 million dollars in charity during that time and became known at the United Way of Berks County as "The Man, The Myth, The Legend". Outside the United Way, Irvin Evans also helped with the American Red Cross, including volunteering during times of crisis such as during Hurricane Katrina. Each year at Forever Impactful, we will award one person in the community the 'Irvin Evans Award" for the incredible impact they had on the community during the year.
